Rights we take for granted, but to most were elusive or non-existent. This unique experience which we call America is built upon the collective genius and extraordinary efforts of all those who came before us.
The Swedes played a key role in the development of our Nation. From the founding of New Sweden, Delaware in 1638, until today, Americans of Swedish ancestry have made countless contributions.
The ancestral roots of the founders of Swedish Heritage Press are in Sweden… Blekinge, Skåne, Småland and Värmland…and our family names are Ericksson, Bengtsson, Ottoson, Lagersted, Trulsson and Håkansson.
